Silent Scenery
This exhibition captures fleeting moments of light and shadow on traditional handmade Tango Washi—paper born from the natural beauty of northern Kyoto.
Each work reflects Japan’s timeless landscapes and invites viewers into a meditative space where presence speaks louder than words.
Nature does not explain itself—it simply exists.
Through layers of texture and light absorbed by washi fibers, the invisible becomes perceptible:
the breath of wind, the soundless presence of stillness, and the subtle memory of air.May each viewer rediscover their own “inner landscape” within this silent scenery.
